Ravi Bhagavan

Ravi has more than 20 years of experience working with companies through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private equity and debt financings, and strategic partnerships in the technology and telecommunications industries. He brings strong domain knowledge and over $6 billion value of transaction experience in enterprise software and SaaS, data analytics, AI/machine learning, IT services and communication services and networks.

Ravi’s recent deals include the sale of: pVerify (healthcare technology) to DoseSpot/PSG Equity, eureQa (infrastructure software) to Worksoft/Marlin Equity, Ventureforth (mobile workforce apps) to Prometheus Group/Genstar Capital, RTAP.io (AI software) to Accenture, RAGE Frameworks (AI automation platform) to Genpact and Breakthrough Technology Group (managed hosting) to ABRY Partners.

Before joining Allied Advisers, Ravi served as technology investment banking advisor to BRG Capital Advisors, a boutique broker dealer. He was previously a Managing Director at Bowstring Advisors (CHILDS Advisory Partners), where he advised middle-market technology companies on the sale of their businesses. Before that, he was a Managing Director at Headwaters MB (now Capstone Headwaters), where he led the Tech-Enabled Services practice, driving M&A and capital-raising transactions in the middle market. Previously, he advised on cross-border buy- and sell-side transactions and capital raising deals across North America, Asia, and Europe at Galileo Global Advisors in New York. He also led corporate development at Zephyr Communications, a telecom company in New Jersey, executing M&A deals and JV partnerships across six countries. He started his financial services career at Goldman Sachs in New York, supporting bond issuance for large institutions in the United States.

Ravi received an MBA in Finance from the Chicago Booth School, an MS in Industrial Engineering from SUNY Buffalo and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (India). Ravi is a TiE Charter Member and has authored and published numerous investment banking articles.
